Wizkid’s unfollowing of Tems, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy and others has sparked controversy

Wizkid, the Afrobeats superstar, isn’t known for being very active on social media, but his most recent decision has been met with mixed reviews online.

The ‘Essence’ singer unfollowed everyone who wasn’t already following him on Instagram.

The musician currently has 15.9 million followers but is following nobody.

It’s possible that some of his followers will unfollow him in retaliation, causing his follower count to plummet.
